Forums & Events

The Tanner Center organizes forums and events with an academic and research component as well as a community dimension. The Center is instrumental in bringing leading human rights activists to campus focusing on a wide range of issues such as migration and the experiences of refugees in the US, water rights, globalization, sex trafficking, religion and conflict and peacemaking. The Center collaborates with community organizations such as Amnesty International, the Red Cross, Utah Coalition for Citizen Diplomacy, and the Utah Film Center.
